The Charleston Symposium weekend is an inclusive $650 for all the lectures, events, and receptions listed on the schedule, including the Opening Night Reception with Keynote Address, and visits to two privately-held period homes. Registration sells out quickly and will be $700 after December 31, 2023.

Registration is strictly limited to 80 patrons on a first-come, first-served basis. The 2024 Symposium takes place during Charleston’s popular spring season with much going on, thus offering the additional opportunity to explore our beautiful historic city.

Tickets:
No tickets will be sent in the mail. You will receive a name badge at Registration which will admit you to all lectures and receptions. You will receive a confirmation email of your ticket purchase.

Cancellation Policy:
Schedule changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. Symposium patrons who cancel by February 9, 2024, regardless of the reason, will be issued a full refund less a $50 handling fee. There will be no refunds after February 9, 2024.

Preservation Society of Charleston Membership:
Each Registration purchase will receive membership in the Preservation Society of Charleston for one year.

Tax Deduction:
$350 of your ticket purchase may be tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the Preservation Society of Charleston. Please consult with your tax advisor.

Lodging:
While lodging is the responsibility of the registrant, a special rate at The Palmetto Hotel is available to Symposium patrons at 843-823-3604 or palmettohotelcharleston.com. Please mention the Charleston Symposium at the time of reservation. As this is one of the city’s best-known boutique hotels, there are a limited number of rooms. The Palmetto Hotel is within easy walking distance of the Old Federal Court Room. The Symposium will provide a list of other local accommodations upon request.
